Getting out and moving your body can be hard if you are lacking motivation.  So counter one motivation with another.

Find something you are interested in and pay for a class!  There are all sorts of options to get you moving, and the thing about classes is peer pressure.  You will actually feel like wanting to move because:  a) you can.  b) you want to at least keep up with the others in the class. and c) you paid for this darn it!

It’s similar to getting a workout buddy, only for those of you motivated by money (or loss of) it can be a big way to get out the door.

Look into classes that fit in your schedule and are convenient for you – many courses are often offered at local community centres, or even during the lunch hour in many venues near densely populated work areas (yoga studios will often even accommodate lunch hour activities.)

Try something new! Karate, Zumba, Barre, Crossfit, Bootcamp.  And commit yourself to get moving.
